John J. Gallagher
U.S. machinery maker Milacron LLC has named John J. Gallagher III as Chief Operating Officer for its Melt Delivery & Control Systems, Fluid Technologies and Finance and Shared Services operations, the company announced July 16.
Gallagher has served on Milacron’s board of directors as chairman of its audit committee since August 2012. In the newly created position, he will oversee Milacron’s Mold Masters, DME and Cimcool businesses, as well as a variety of internal services.
“With John Gallagher and Ron Krisanda (COO - Milacron, Advanced Plastic Processing Technologies / Operations / Technology) we now have two highly experienced and very successful leaders,” CEO Tom Goeke said in a statement. “Milacron has the opportunity to place even greater emphasis on our customers and our ability to drive top-line growth continuing to build the foundation for Milacron’s success both today and well into the future.”
Gallagher has previously held executive roles at several companies, including at chemicals and specialty materials group Celanese Corp., where he was Executive Vice President and President of Acetyls Intermediates and Celanese Asia. He also sits on the board of directors of Kraton Performance Polymers Inc.
Gallagher holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Delaware and is also a CPA.
