Sun Plastech Inc. has debuted a purging compound designed for polypropylene.
The firm’s Asaclean HP is well suited to large PP parts where it offers high cleaning power and ability to improve color changes. Its high melt flow makes it suitable for high-cavitation hot runner cleaning. Its service temperature range is broad, from 340 degrees F to 570 degrees F., the Parsippany, N.J., company states.
