Macchi SpA, the Italian maker of blown film lines, generated sales of about 41 million euros ($50 million) in 2013, with just 110 employees.
Macchi reports strong sales of five layer coextrusion lines for non-barrier polyolefin films. The company rolled out its multi-layer POD technology at K2013.
“The results, before and after the K show, were very bright, and have allowed the company to leave very quickly behind the difficulties associated with the industrial crisis and post-crisis period,” said Mauro Andreoli, sales and marketing director.
Macchi’s backlog of orders runs into the mid-spring of 2015.
